Book resources and questions-Please Read
I've been getting a bit of email lately from people looking for the support files for the book, the old link found in the book is no longer functional because my site has been updated to php. At any rate you can find all of the support files on the main page of my website todddaniele.com. There is also a link to the tubecap script in the same area as the support files.
If you have any questions regarding the book or the lessons, please post them here rather than emailing me directly. If you are having an issue with any of the content found in the book, there is a chance that someone else may be having the same problem, so posting here will make it a searchable, more public way to help each other.
thanks for all of the support, I appreciate that you guys are keeping the book sales going strong after all this time!
Happy Modeling!
Todd

I just finished working on my 1st training video for Digital-Tutors, the premier training site for digital artists. In the video I outline various modeling techniques within 3ds Max 2012 while building a detailed model of a steam locomotive.

Making braided Lines in 3ds Max tutorial
I had a request for 1 of the tutorials from the old website, so I decided to make a video version and post it here.
Audio is good, it has a couple of levels issues due to the old mic I was using.
Enjoy!

Welcome! Post your questions and comments about Poly-Modeling with 3dsMax here
Hello everyone,
I have decided to move the support for my book to this location here on blogspot. The forum proved to be to hard to maintain, I feel this will be a better venue for the questions and answers. With that said, I hope anyone with questions will post here, and follow the blog. Being quite new to the blog system myself I am sure there may be some kinks we will need to iron out, so please be patient if things aren't running perfectly at first.
Thanks!
